I’d say this would have to be because jobs over 40k require a lot more of your time and dedication typically so if you don’t really enjoy what you do for work, you will be less happy. The stress of having no money can be worse than the stress you go through to make money, so if you don’t have enough money to support yourself, you will not be happy. People are very unhappy when they have to worry about if they will make the morgage payment this month, or if they will have monsy to buy food, or if the basic needs in life are always a challenge to meet.
