I just have some general questions, so here goes I currently work in social work, but I’m looking for a change. I have a bar-tender friend who turned me on to the idea of doing what she does. However, she lives in a small town in Indiana so her advice only goes so far. I won’t go into all the reasons I want to tend bar, suffice to say I think I could make more money doing that than with social work sad, right? Next month I will be quitting my job and moving to your fine city I don’t need to hear why I shouldn’t move to Austin. My question is this.

A person working days will not make much usually.
Unfortunately everyone thinks that of your a bartender you make great money. This depends on so many factors. Shift, servers baryenders, time, guests, and big spenders. You cant depend on making a certain amount on any particular day.
